Get ready for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the TRAPS Maintenance Rodeo, held in conjunction with the TRAPS Institute! This premier showcase celebrates the outstanding skills and dedication of maintenance crews from across Texas. Competitors will demonstrate their expertise in challenges ranging from truck and trailer maneuvering to plant identification, all highlighting the precision, teamwork, and professionalism that keep our parks thriving.
More than just a competition, the Maintenance Rodeo is a chance to connect, share knowledge, and celebrate the vital work of our park operations professionals. Join us for a day of skill, spirit, and Texas-sized camaraderie!

The top 5 contestants or teams per event in each region, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place winners, are eligible to compete in the state rodeo. *Note a city may have multiple participants entered at the state rodeo provided they qualify at their regional rodeo. – Lunch will be provided.
