Hello TRAPS Members! We are so proud of our membership and are always thrilled to see our members wearing their TRAPS merchandise when we zoom or meet in person! In honor of Parks and Recreation Month in July, TRAPS members who wear their TRAPS merch to work and submit a photo of them working hard, or hardly working, may be selected to be featured on the TRAPS social media pages on Thursdays!

Dr. Lord can Visit Your Organization
Attention TRAPS Members and Affiliated TRAPS Agencies:
As you all know, Dr. Lord is soon stepping down from her position as Executive Director of TRAPS, and the TRAPS big board has strongly encouraged her to begin to use her accumulated one million hours of PTO! In celebration of Parks and Rec month in July, we want to give her ideas of places to travel to and visit by photoshopping her likeness (photo below) into your favorite places within or outside your town/city! Each week will have a different theme, and the most creative or most outrageous pictures will be selected to be posted on the TRAPS Instagram page on Friday’s in July.
• Week 1: Photoshop Dr. Lord at your favorite aquatics center, splash-pad, river, lake, or beach front. Don’t forget to apply some sunblock Dr. Lord! Photo submissions due by July 5th, 2021.
• Week 2: Photoshop Dr. Lord at your favorite Green-space, including trails, parks, gardens, playing fields, playgrounds, and plazas! Remember to maintain 6 feet Dr. Lord! Photo submissions due by July 12th, 2021.
• Week 3: Photoshop Dr. Lord at your favorite Indoor Recreation activity, including basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, art, dance studio, rock-wall, theater, ice skating, or archery! Don’t forget to renew your membership fees Dr. Lord! Photos due by July 19th, 2021.
• Week 4: Photoshop Dr. Lord at your favorite special event of the year, past or future event! Don’t forget to have some fun and relax Dr. Lord! Photo submissions due by July 26th, 2021.
