The Minorities In Leisure Service Branch promotes and provides professional development, education and growth for minority professionals; and fosters inter-organization and peer linkages.
Purposes
The Minorities In Leisure Service Branch supports and strengthens the Society through the recruitment of minority membership and the active development of minority leadership in the parks and recreation profession.
Involvement in the Branch shall be available to any individual(s) or group(s) regardless of sex, religion, race, color, or age. It is the consideration of the punitive and disadvantaged relationships that have characterized the role and function of women and ethnic minorities within the state in the recreation and park profession to date, that their special needs and desires shall be given the immediate and specific attention of this branch.

A current TRAPS membership is required for all positions.
