Meet the TR Branch Board

If you have not declared a branch affiliation as a TRAPS member, do so now! Identifying a branch that meets your needs and interests as a member will allow you to have the inside scoop on important happenings related to your field or specialty.

Chair/President – Natalie Klinsky, CTRS-MSRLS

Natalie Klinsky attended Appalachian State University to receive a BS in Recreation Management and Texas State University to receive MS in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. She has over 8 years in the camp industry, 20 years in aquatics (from swim team to lifeguarding, and lifeguard instructor to aquatics supervisor and swim coaching).

Natalie has been a CTRS for 4 years and is currently an independent contractor in San Antonio for both Recreation Therapy and Aquatic Therapy. In her free time, she loves playing with her black lab pup, coaching a community swim team, exploring outside, swimming, reading, writing, and painting.

Past Chair, CTRS – Jesse Enriquez

Jesse is originally from Luling, Texas and attended Texas State University to receive his BS in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. Jesse is the Internship and Development Manager at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center in San Antonio, Texas. When he’s not working, he loves hanging out with his family and friends as well as having a great time and making memories.

He is a CTRS who has been working in Mental Health for 6 years at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center in San Antonio, Texas. When he’s not working, he is hanging with his family and friends and having a great time doing fun things and making great memories

Secretary – Claire Winchester, CTRS-MSRLS

Claire attended University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and received my B.A. in Art and then Texas State University to receive her M.S. in Recreation and Leisure Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.

Claire has been a CTRS since 2017, currently,  and is an independent contractor working with young adults who have intellectual and physical disabilities in community-based settings. In her spare time, you can find her traveling, listening to live music, or creating art for her TR-based Instagram page, Hodgepodge.Creative. Claire really enjoy creating art and using it to educate and advance the TR profession. 

Treasurer – Jordan Searcy, CTRS-MSRLS

Jordan Searcy attended Texas State University to receive a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science with a Pre-Physical Therapy Concentration, and Texas State University to receive a Master of Science in Recreation and Leisure Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. 

Jordan has been a CTRS for 3 years, and is currently the Recreation Therapy Team Lead at Imagine Therapies, LLC. In her free time, she loves spending time with her fiancé and cat Bella, hiking, reading, and cooking. 

At Large Board Members

Leti Gonzalez, CTRS

Leti Gonzalez is co-founder/owner and executive director for Imagine Therapies, LLC. Leti has been practicing Recreation Therapy as a CTRS for 23 years.  She has practiced with a variety of populations and settings, to include; physical rehabilitation, psychiatric treatment, chemical and substance abuse recovery and treatment, and private contracting.

Leti founded and is a member of the Texas RT COVID-19 Task Force. Leti previously sat on the Texas licensure task force committee, and is a current member of Coalition of Texans with Disabilities, American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) and Texas Recreation And Park Society (TRAPS). Leti is currently serving on the TRAPS TR Branch board and on the TRAPS communications and marketing committee. 

Chris Meza, CTRS-MSRLS 

Chris Meza works for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) as the agency Accessibility Program Specialist on the American’s with Disability Act (ADA branch team. Chris has five years of experience working at a recreation center for people with cognitive and physical impairments and then went on to graduate from Texas State University to obtain a Master of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. Chris has worked in psychiatric, community, and government settings.
