The Recreation Programming and Special Events Branch is dedicated to collaborating, sharing ideas, plans and expertise with Park and Recreation Professionals who plan events and programs, big and small.
We invite event planners and programmers of all experience levels to join us for our discussions and educational sessions.
Objectives:
- To encourage collaboration and mentorship between Programming and Special Events Professionals.
- To share our skills, experiences and expertise to the benefit of the communities of others.

The Recreation Programming & Special Events Branch holds meetings with a variety of formats. Meetings are hosted on Zoom.
- Panel and Discussion Meetings: Panelists will answer a variety of submitted questions and guide discussion within the group. If you would like to be a panelist or submit a question, please email Leah Anderson, CPRP
- Educational Session Meetings: We will have a variety of experts discussing programming and special events related topics to help us improve our skills. If you have a recommended speaker, please let us know!
